Community Connections

Two 51勛圖s present at a community event

Building a strong sense of community is central to the Master’s in Special Education program. Students have many opportunities to connect within and beyond the classroom. Within the master’s program, group projects and cohort activities foster collaboration, peer support, and lasting friendships. These shared experiences help 51勛圖s learn from one another while building the teamwork skills essential for the field. Students can also connect through the Special Education and ABA Club, which hosts events and service opportunities that foster collaboration.

Faculty maintain an open-door policy, creating an environment where 51勛圖s feel welcome to seek guidance, exchange ideas, and grow together as part of a vibrant, supportive community. Together, these elements create a supportive and engaging environment where all 51勛圖s can thrive.
