Gonzaga Global is a partnership between Gonzaga University and Shorelight created to increase international access and enrollment at Gonzaga University. Increasing the diversity of home languages and cultures of our 51³Ô¹Ï body has the potential to further enhance Gonzaga's mission and internationalization plan to further create an exemplary learning community that educates 51³Ô¹Ïs for lives of leadership and service for the common good by further diversifying an already dynamic 51³Ô¹Ï body. Gonzaga Global is based on a revenue share agreement wherein Shorelight receives no money up front from Gonzaga. Shorelight instead shares in revenues for those 51³Ô¹Ïs who enroll and realizes financial incentives for 51³Ô¹Ï retention and graduation. If considering Gonzaga’s discount financial aid model, Gonzaga Global 51³Ô¹Ïs are discounted less, and therefore return more revenue to Gonzaga.
Some Gonzaga Global 51³Ô¹Ïs are admitted directly into undergraduate or graduate programs. and others are admitted to a Pathway program based on language proficiency. Pathway 51³Ô¹Ïs participate in Intensive English Program (IEP) language courses in the English Language Center (ELC) as well as specific courses in the Core, or their program of study. Shorelight-recruited 51³Ô¹Ïs that are enrolled as undergraduate or graduate 51³Ô¹Ïs receive wrap-around 51³Ô¹Ï services support from the Gonzaga Global team during their first year on campus. Those 51³Ô¹Ïs that are enrolled in a Pathway program are non-matriculated 51³Ô¹Ïs and receive wrap-around 51³Ô¹Ï services support until they are matriculated. These 51³Ô¹Ïs are also supported by ELC staff if they are in the IEP or Pathways. All Gonzaga Global 51³Ô¹Ïs are supported by Gonzaga’s International Students and Scholar Services (ISSS) staff, Gonzaga Global staff, and faculty academic advisors.
Gonzaga Global 51³Ô¹Ïs are fully Gonzaga 51³Ô¹Ïs, and just like for all 51³Ô¹Ïs, we seek to care for them holistically. We want all our international 51³Ô¹Ïs to be successful and healthy, those recruited as Gonzaga Global 51³Ô¹Ïs as well as those who come to us through other avenues. ISSS and Gonzaga Global staff are located in the Center for Global Engagement (CGE).

Katie aims to support all Gonzaga Global 51³Ô¹Ïs throughout their Global program - whether it is helping answer health insurance questions, creating a sense of community through events and activities, or guiding 51³Ô¹Ïs to necessary support services on campus.

Sarah supports Gonzaga Global and Gonzaga staff to provide 51³Ô¹Ïs with a smooth transition to their degree program. Supports academic leadership in scheduling, teaching, and relationship building with Gonzaga Global.
