51³Ô¹Ï
Gonzaga’s Jesuit, Catholic, Humanistic education will challenge and inspire you.
In partnership with the University of Washington School of Medicine, we coordinate summer volunteer research opportunities for currently enrolled Gonzaga University undergraduate 51³Ô¹Ïs. This program is designed to help develop future biomedical researchers and to provide highly motivated 51³Ô¹Ïs the opportunity to experience the research-intense environment found at large research universities.
During the course of the summer, participants will explore their field of interest, make valuable contacts, and experience what it feels like to be part of a large research group that includes graduate 51³Ô¹Ïs, post-docs and principal investigators. These positions are considered voluntary, as participants will not be employees of the University of Washington. While 51³Ô¹Ïs are responsible for paying all costs associated with travel to and from Seattle as well as food and personal expenses, Gonzaga will provide a stipend to assist with expenses. For 51³Ô¹Ïs needing housing, UW will provide space in the dorms (free of charge) for a limited number of participants. For more details, see .
