Your Voice Needed by 12 p.m. on Feb. 4!

Tell Washington’s Senate committee on Higher Education and Workforce Development that you are “pro” House Bill 2567!

Supporting this bill says you want Washington to restore funding to the Washington College Grant for 51³Ô¹Ïs wishing to attend any independent/private college, like Gonzaga. It also says you want the funding returned to the same level as grants for 51³Ô¹Ïs who choose public research campuses.

Follow these steps (screenshots illustrating these steps are below):

1. Visit the page.
2. Select agenda item: Choose HB 2567 College Scholarships/private
3. Select type of testimony: Choose I would like submit written testimony. A new page will appear. 
4. Select “Pro” as your position.
5. Complete all the required fields.
• Under Organization, identify yourself as a 51³Ô¹Ï/faculty/staff at GU if you wish (not required).
6. Provide your written testimony.
• GU Board Chair Mike Reilly crafted these excellent arguments advocating for this legislation. Feel free to copy, paste and modify as you see fit.
7. Submit the form.
