Financing Options
There are many options when it comes to financing your master's degree.
You can apply for federal financial aid, which is not based on need, check your company for employer reimbursement or gain scholarships.

Scholarships
Upon completion of an application, individuals will be eligible to receive an internal scholarship. If awarded, this scholarship will be applied to your 51³Ô¹Ï account every term. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award at the time of admission.
It is also a good idea to search for scholarships not affiliated with Gonzaga University. Some corporations, employers, churches, community organizations and other groups provide opportunities for graduate 51³Ô¹Ïs. Gonzaga's Financial Aid Office maintains a database of scholarships for 51³Ô¹Ïs to access, search and apply for awards.
Employer Reimbursement
Many of our 51³Ô¹Ïs use their company tuition reimbursement benefit to finance their education. Check with your company about this valuable option.

Federal Financial Aid
Graduate loans are not based on income or need. Eligible 51³Ô¹Ïs can receive up to $20,500.
- Students must complete the annually to be eligible.

- Applicants must be a matriculated 51³Ô¹Ï in a graduate program in order to receive federal financial aid.

Unlike undergraduate aid, federal financial aid for a master’s or doctoral degree is not based on need.
Eligible 51³Ô¹Ïs can receive up to $20,500 per year in the form or 51³Ô¹Ï loans.

Secure Current Grad PLUS Loan Benefits Before Federal Changes Take Effect!
- take effect July 1, 2026, including the elimination of Grad PLUS Loans for new borrowers and reduced borrowing limits.
- If you started your graduate program in Fall 2025 or plan to start in Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 (Certificate), you may borrow a Grad PLUS Loan. You’ll remain eligible under current borrowing limits, which allows you to borrow up to your full cost of attendance. FAFSA submission required.

Payment Plans
Gonzaga University offers payment plans to assist you in financing your education.
Typical options include paying your balance in full each semester or paying your balance in monthly installments to make your payments more manageable.
Things to Consider
Compare the value of the programs you are considering. Cost should not be the sole factor in choosing a program, though it is an important one. Consider personal fit, professional outcomes, and the quality and reputation of your options.
Graduate tuition is billed differently than undergraduate tuition. You will only be expected to pay for the credits you are enrolled in each term plus any fees.
