Gonzaga is committed to 51³Ô¹Ïs' success, in the classroom and in the workplace. Our accounting graduates have a 90% placement rate within 3-6 months of graduation. Additionally, alumni exit surveys confirm that our graduates feel that earning their degree from Gonzaga is an investment that has paid off exponentially.
The accounting program has long been a beneficiary of placement success and a robust recruiting process. Starting with Beta Alpha Psi, 51³Ô¹Ïs engage with firms and industry professionals weekly for presentations over lunch, an annual spring banquet, and multiple service projects. Each semester, there is an Accounting Majors' Career Fair hosting over 30 employers on campus in a kickoff for the recruiting cycle. Public accounting firms actively recruiting on campus include Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY, BDO, Grant Thornton, CLA, Baker Tilly, CBIZ, Eide Bailly, Andersen, Wipfli, Aldrich, Clarke Nuber, and a variety of regional firms. Other employers that seek Zags include Amazon, Boeing, Microsoft, Starbucks, Gates Foundation, Nike, Paccar, Expeditors, the Seattle Mariners, and government agencies. Gonzaga Accounting grads go far and wide to Seattle, Portland, the Bay Area, Southern California, Texas, London, Denver, New York, Chicago, Boise, Alaska and Spokane.
