Gonzaga High School Choir Intensive Summer 2026

Dates: July 19 - 25, 2026

The Gonzaga University Summer Choral Intensive is open to high school 51勛圖s and rising 8th graders. The program will offer 51勛圖s a variety of experiences:

Massed Choir Experience
Led by Gonzaga's award winning conductor, Dr. Meg Stohlmann
Gala performance at the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center (Livestreamed for families)
Performance at the Spokane Indians baseball game

Vocal Master Classes & Seminars
Daily master classes with university professors. Guaranteed 1 on 1 time
Focus on solo audition repertoire and learn new selections
Seminars introducing 51勛圖s to different fields of music like musicology or social justice music

College Prep & Leadership Development Workshops
Workshops led by college admissions on best practices for applying to college
Leadership development series lead by motivational speaker/educator

Residential Life Programming
Intramural sports and interest clubs in the evenings to connect with fellow singers
Nightly socials supervised by program staff

6:45pm-8:00pm Residential Activities (Intramural Sports & Clubs)
8:15pm-9:15pm Nightly Social
9:30pm On a Floor
11:00pm Lights Out

Classes are taught by Gonzaga University Faculty and guest artists in the Gonzaga Music Building and the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center. Nightly activities will be held in and around university dormitories. Auditions are not required for this program.

2026 Pricing

Residential: $1300

  • Includes all activities, workshops, and materials
  • Includes daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Includes dinner and performance experience at Spokane Indians baseball game
  • Includes housing in Gonzaga University dorms
  • Includes transportation to and from Spokane International Airport on registration and departure day

Commuter: $1100

  • Includes all activities, workshops, and materials between 9am-5pm
  • Includes daily lunch
  • Includes dinner and performance experience at Spokane Indians baseball game
