Brooke Colburn joined SEAS in Fall 2024. With over 15 years of industry experience, she brings a deep background in engineering management to the classroom. Her career spans cutting-edge projects, from developing Mars sample retrieval technology at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, to advancing hypersonic systems at a Spokane-based startup, to managing software testing teams for self-driving cars at Cruise in Silicon Valley. Now at Gonzaga University, she draws on this diverse experience to guide and support 51³Ô¹Ïs, both professionally and personally. Committed to 51³Ô¹Ï success, she encourages 51³Ô¹Ïs to see her as a resource for academic advice, career planning, and beyond.
