The Seattle reception took place Thursday evening atop the Sheraton Grand Seattle, where guests filled the Cirrus Room overlooking the city skyline and Puget Sound. The following morning, the conversation continued east of Lake Washington at The Golf Club at Newcastle in Bellevue, offering a stunning view of the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges as the sun rose over the region. At both events, President Passerini received a warm welcome from Gonzaga’s engaged and enthusiastic community. She shared reflections on Gonzaga’s Jesuit, Catholic, humanistic mission, her early priorities as the University’s 27th president and her hopes for Gonzaga’s future. Attendees reconnected with fellow Zags and were invited to consider how they can continue to play an active role in advancing the University’s mission.
