Why did you decide to return to school for a master’s degree?
I wanted to deepen my analytical skill set and position myself for more strategic, data-driven roles. I realized that to advance in today’s business environment, I needed formal training in analytics, advanced modeling, and data storytelling. Returning for a master’s degree was a strategic investment to accelerate my career and open opportunities that wouldn’t be accessible with only a bachelor’s degree. I also played on Gonzaga's Men's tennis team and had 1 more year of eligibility.Why Gonzaga and Why the M.S. in Business Analytics (MSBA) program?

I currently work in a data-driven operations and strategy role where I create analytics dashboards, automate workflows, and support decision-making through data insights. The MSBA program gave me the technical foundation: SQL, Python, predictive modeling, and the business framing needed to translate data into actionable recommendations. It also strengthened my ability to communicate insights to executives, which has been essential in my day-to-day responsibilities.What skills did you develop during the program?
I developed a combination of technical and strategic skills, including:• Python, SQL, and Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Machine learning and predictive modeling
• Data visualization in Tableau and Power BI
• A/B testing and experimental design
• Business communication and data storytelling
